The Exhibition

‘The world of reality has its limits. The world of imagination is boundless.’

In creating Outside Insight, we have aimed to offer our audience a platform to experience forms, shapes, colours and sounds: a space which enables you to pause and be enriched by your own senses and imagination. Art has the potential to inspire, inform and transform. In this exhibition and accompanying series of concerts, we hope to inspire the imagination and creative potential that lies in every one of us. What is possible when you ‘Reach for the Sky’?

The contemplation of art, in it’s many forms, can also offer a space for reflection and contemplation of the Self. Art then becomes a mirror. What you see, hear or sense about a sculpture, a painting or a piece of music may also be reflecting back something of yourself. What do you think about it? How does it make you feel? What memories or images are conjured up? Where in time are they situated? Past, present and future merge in the dream worlds of our imagination.
